Christians of The Church of Almighty God Will Be Brutally Persecuted by the CCP Once Repatriated

On January 4, 2018, according to the U.S. State Department, pursuant to the 1998 International Religious Freedom Act, China is re-designated as a "Country of Particular Concern." This is the nineteenth consecutive year that China is included in the "Country of Particular Concern" list. At the same time, when the freedom of religious belief in China draws great attention of the U.S. government, the asylum applications of many Christians of The Church of Almighty God who had been persecuted by the CCP, and who had fled abroad to South Korea and European countries, are denied again and again. These governments even issued orders for their deportation and had their Alien Registration Cards withdrawn. Once repatriated to China, these Christians are bound to face the CCP's arrest, torture and imprisonment, even the danger of death. Their situations are critical!

#8 How to View Conversion From Traditional Sects to The Church of Almighty God - Massimo Introvigne

On November 20–21, 2017, in just two days, seventeen reports attacking The Church of Almighty God (CAG) were published intensively on Ta Kung Pao and Wen Wei Po, the mouthpiece media of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in Hong Kong (HK), citing the rumors and fallacies consistently fabricated by the CCP to discredit and condemn the CAG. The reports, by quoting a few pastors’ senseless accusations that the CAG is responsible for the loss of the members of their churches, intended to incite the public and religious groups to go against and convict the CAG. Upon this, Prof. Massimo Introvigne, an Italian sociologist, the founder and managing director of the Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR), makes comments as follows.

Dr. Massimo Introvigne Addresses the International Conference on Religious Persecution and the Human Rights of Refugees: The Church of Almighty God Is the Typical Victim of Black Propaganda and Fake News

Professor Massimo Introvigne, the founder and manager of Italy's Center for Studies on New Religions and the chairman of Italy's Observatory of Religious Liberty, spoke at the international conference on Religious Persecution and the Human Rights of Refugees held in Seoul, South Korea on October 23, 2017. He said that the Christians in The Church of Almighty God have been subjected to clear and flagrant religious persecution, and even torture. However, their status as refugees has not been recognized by civilized countries such as South Korea, and one of the critical reasons for that is that the negative propaganda and false reports from the Chinese Communist Party and some Christian groups regarding The Church of Almighty God have had a negative impact. The Church of Almighty God is a classic victim of this kind of negative propaganda and false reports. Professor Introvigne called on human rights organizations, the press, as well as experts and scholars on emerging religious movements and in the humanitarian realm to work to reveal the truth.
